Track name is in the description. It's a race only venue though so please don't try to find it! Wink

2009 round was last weekend so if you want to ride it, you'll need to be on the ball to get an entry for the 2010 round! It's a good 'un.

Yup, I did crash! Well done. Have a chocky biccy.

Yes, I did set up the shot - camera was set to manual focus, manual exposure, flash set to manual power and zoom. Lighting was off camera flash - SB-26 on tripod, high and to camera right, firing in front of rider at somewhere about45 degrees triggered optically via on-camera SB-28. Check the shadows, if that's natural lighting, I stayed upright and rode it out!

Also, Alex didn't 'just stand and take the photo' - he stood bang in the right spot and nailed the timing!

Where do you think the landing is? To save folk from guessing, I gave a link in the description with the lowdown - here it is again : http://www.gravity-slaves.co.uk/?a=475

From the comments, it appears not! I thought all the info anyone could need is on there! Live and learn, I guess. I might post a 'FAQ' for this photo! Wink

Standard what? Standard bikes? Standard Lamp? British Standard? Evening Standard?

Or are you saying it's a good standard, or so standard you hit 50 foot gaps on the way to the shops?

Yup, freeride shot, fully race rider though. Sam is now rubbing shoulders with Riffle on Team Cannondale. This is one racer boy that can huck too! Smile

Question is - does a bike unlock a riders potential or does the rider unlock that of the bike? I suspect the Athertons can unlock a bike, whereas most of the rest of us just need to brake less! Wink

(It's the '09 that's 'faster', mine is the '08 Wink )

Mine are Boxxer Team internals running inside World Cup lowers with different stickers. They were custom valved by TF Tuned so hard to replicate but here goes....

I am 73kg and run a softer spring, 2-3 clicks of slow speed compression, a turn on the floodgate and about a turn and a half of rebound. I've pushed the stanchions through the crowns about 10mm to slacken the head angle a touch. Perfect! Wink

Yup. Good spot!

I like 'em. Light, grippy and pretty solid. I got them because of the machined pyramids - if you smash all the pins out, like I tend to, you've still got some grip there. Doing well so far, work well with the Five Tens.
